Tavira is the venue for sailing’s Portuguese Youth Championships this week.
Some 120 competitors from all over the country are hoping for fair winds in the Optimist class until Sunday.
This is the fourth major event to be held in the Eastern Algarve this year representing an initiative which will draw to a close with two European Championship regattas in July.
