SPANISH OPERATIC tenor Plácido Domingo´s performance at Lisbon’s Pavilhão Atlântico on April 21 is being billed as his last ever in the city.
Perhaps the most versatile of all living tenors, to date, Plácido Domingo has sung 92 roles onstage, ranging from Mozart to Ginastera. However, his main repertoire is Italian, French and German.
Domingo gained international recognition with José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti, as one of The Three Tenors at the opening of the 1990 football World Cup in Rome.
Tickets for this one-off show, part of his farewell tour, are priced between 37.50 and 210 euros according to seat position. In addition, a limited number of VIP tickets are on sale at 295 euros each, including access to a pre-show reception, official programme, VIP buffet, seats in the front rows and a surprise gift.
