POLÌCIA JUDICIÁRIA (PJ) is currently investigating 54 cases of missing children under 18 years old.
The information was revealed in a report published by the PJ on May 25, in which it also mentions a total of 132 cases of missing people being actively investigated by the criminal and scientific police.
Since the beginning of 2007, the PJ has received a total of 637 missing people alerts, 63 of them referring to children under the age of 12.
