It has taken 23 days, but PJ police appear now to be reinforcing inquiries into the disappearance of a second hand car dealer from his home in Torres Novas on December 30. There have been multiple reports of possible sightings of Filipe Silva, 48, but none seem to have rung true. Police will now be honing in on the area where the last pings from his mobile phone were registered, and re question certain people, to discount the possibility of crime. Mr Silva’s family are said to be ‘in pieces’ over the fact their loved one has seemingly vanished into thin air.
