PJ police to set up 24-hour vigilance at Tires Aerodrome in wake of cocaine-packed jet investigation

As authorities in Brazil and Portugal try to get to the bottom of who was behind the Falcon jet packed with cocaine before its homeward bound journey to Portugal (click here), PJ police are planning to set up a permanent vigilance post at Tires aerodrome (the jet’s base, and point from which it left Portugal bound for Brazil). An official source has already confirmed that traffickers have started using private jets to smuggle drugs during the pandemic, because of the dramatic fall in the number of commercial flights.
