PJ police dismantle major drug trafficking network in Algarve

A drug trafficking network based in Spain which operated in the Algarve was dismantled by PJ police and Spanish authorities on Wednesday.

Reports TVI, at least 40 people have been arrested and around 10 tons of hashish seized.

The network apparently used speedboats which departed from the Algarve to pick up the drugs in Morocco and take them to Spain, where they were moved onto trucks on land and brought back to the Algarve.
