PJ police have discovered €292,000 hidden in a high cylinder car at the port of Ponta Delgada in the Azores. The car was due to be shipped to Madeira. It is unclear what made police suspicious – but once they began searching the vehicle, it wasn’t long before the stash of notes hidden behind the door panels was discovered. The big question now is what was the origin of the money? So far, reports have not alluded to who was shipping the vehicle, or who owns it.
