RIDERS FROM the world of Supersport and the World Superbike Championship were out in force on Thursday morning in Portimão.
The star of the show was World Superbike champion Troy Bayliss, who arrived with his family on the riverside in Portimco to allow fans the chance to meet with the Superbike legend while he promoted the race weekend at the Algarve Motor park.

Spaniard Carlos Checa, the Honda rider, chatted with his Superbike rivals Troy Bayliss, Rigis Laconi and German Max Neukirchner while Noriyuki Haga, the Yamaha rider stood quietly in the crowd as press and fans swarmed around the bikes and riders.
Parkalgar Honda rider Josh Hayes represented the home team and the Honda CBR 600 RR bike used in the Supersport races was also on show for fans.
