Silves Dance Club hosted a Caribbean themed evening at the Hotel Colina dos Mouros attended by more than 60 people all dressed in colourful outfits to reflect the theme.
Guests, the eldest being 90 and the youngest only a few months old, enjoyed a chicken buffet, stopping only briefly for a limbo competition.
Organisers of the event would like to thank everyone who was involved in the evening.
Deanna Mitchell said: “This was one of the best evenings we have had since we started a year ago and we look forward to many more in the future.”
The next dance from the club will be held on October 11 at the Hotel Colina dos Mouros in Silves while plans are currently being made for the November and Christmas formal dance.
