For the first time, the Algarve’s Pirate Week event is being held at Senhora da Rocha in Porches, Lagoa.
Taking place between this Friday and Tuesday (July 21-25), the event will recreate the times when pirates were feared along the coast of the Algarve for their plundering and pillaging.
Admission is free, with everyone invited to dress up for the occasion.
