The Serra de Monchique (SDM) Ladies are hosting the Second Pink Ladies Charity Golf Day at Silves golf course on Thursday, September 5, with all profits going to the breast cancer screening unit in Faro.
Last year the event raised €4,000.
Organisers say it will be a “wonderful day, with lots of fun, a goody bag, on-course catering, prizes and a lovely healthy lunch after the game”.
Participants will be able to purchase Mulligan tickets, raffle tickets and there will be a small auction after the game. All proceeds will be going to the mobile screening unit of the oncology centre in Faro (www.aoa.pt).
Shotgun start for the Two Ball Better Ball Stableford tournament will be at 9am.
Entry fee including lunch for full Pestana members costs €30; entry free including lunch for Pestana Pay & Play members and non-Pestana members costs €55. Buggy costs €25. Dress code is pink.
