Pink Cadillacs rock for the animals

news: Pink Cadillacs rock for the animals

The well-known 50s rock and roll band, The Pink Cadillacs, are coming to Bar Linda in Meia Praia (Lagos) on June 25.

The band has been through several different line-ups since its birth back in 1991 on the shores of Cornwall, but, as they say, patience is a virtue and this line-up is the best yet. With Paul Philippart on bass and lead vocals, Colin Burgess on lead guitar, saxophone, harmonica, keyboards and vocals (but not all at once), and Win Fisher on drums and backing vocals, the trio really do get you rocking and rolling. Their repertoire covers rock and roll from 1955 to 1964 and their show promises good entertainment with danceable, fun music.

If you’re a fan of good old rock and roll, mouth-watering food and, most importantly, a love of animals, then get yourself down to Bar Linda at 12.30pm for 1pm. The Pink Cadillacs will be performing in aid of the Lagos Animal Protection Society (LAPS) and Bar Linda will be providing a fantastic meal. Tickets are 20 euros each for the meal and concert.
