Pinheiros Altos Golf Club in Quinta do Lago is holding its 1st Annual Charity Golf Day on Wednesday, October 5 in aid of four worthy charities based in the Algarve.
Participants are invited to enter a four-player team. The team format will be relaxed and is designed to be friendly yet competitive, but the emphasis is on fun, say organisers.
Included in the team cost of €800: breakfast on arrival; allocated tee times from 8am; full use of the practice facilities; relaxed and friendly 18 holes of golf with buggies (two per team); great prizes and a quality goody bag; special Pinheiros BBQ meal (choice of mains cooked to your taste).
Guests are then invited to remain or return for a drink’s reception at 7.30pm where there will be an auction and prize giving – www.auction-pa.com
The four chosen charities are: The Salvation Army, Algarve Oncology Association (AOA), Centro de Assistência Social Lucinda Anino dos Santos (CASLAS) and the Bombeiros.
Organisers also encourage any individual players not able to muster a team to contact them and they will do their best to slot you into a team – “a great way to meet new friends”.
