The team at Pinetrees Riding Centre know how to celebrate in style. On Saturday, June 12, a group of 18 staff and volunteers filled the restaurant space with three tables at Marco and Ana Alban’s Quarteira restaurant Bácaro.
Why the party? Pinetrees was started in 1985 and, as founder Beverly Gibbons explained, it was also an excuse for the team to “let their hair down – we just deserved it after the stresses and strains of the Covid year.
“It was our first time at this cosy restaurant where we were well looked after by our hosts,” said Beverly.
“Chef Marco, a native of Venice, produced exceptional quality, genuine Italian food for us accompanied by a fine choice of wines.”
The evening included a cake from Pastelaria Charlotte (Almancil) and gifts for the team bought from local shops in Loulé.
Valter and Orlando of Votransfers were the chauffeurs for the evening.
“Thus, the initiative helped local businesses and a great time was had by all.”
