Albufeira’s Pine Cliffs Resort will reopen on Saturday (June 6) with the ‘Clean & Safe’ seal, new services, daily activities and even “private beach access”.
Aware of the strange times we are living, Pine Cliffs has invested in new cleaning equipment to “guarantee the elimination of all viruses and bacteria”. New disinfection mats have also been placed at all entrances to the resort, while guests’ luggage will also be disinfected upon arrival.
Downloading the Pine Cliffs’ app is recommended as it will provide guests with a map of the resort, the services it provides and the chance to book your place at the many daily activities on offer.
The beach concession at Praia da Falésia has also been expanded, with sunbeds, lounge chairs and sunshades available for rent. Clients can even request to have the whole area to themselves.
For now, there will be four restaurants and bars open: Corda Café, the restaurant at the heart of the resort which will be open all day; Maré at Pine Cliffs, a beach restaurant and bar with a rooftop lounge boasting a sea view; Mirador, described as “perfect for a cocktail while watching the sunset”; and Clubhouse, a laidback restaurant with a view to the golf course.
All restaurants have launched new menus, take-away service and ready-made meals which are ideal for families who prefer to eat in their rooms.
Terraces and outdoor areas have also been expanded to allow more space between guests.
The golf course and tennis and paddle courts will also be open as will the Porto Pirate children’s playground.
