Albufeira Câmara is holding a photography contest, Descobre e fotografa as praias de Albufeira (Discover and photograph the beaches of Albufeira) until June 27.
Participants will have to capture the charms of beaches in the Albufeira council area. The best photos will be posted on the Camâra website (www.cm-albufeira.pt) where they will be subject to public vote from October to December to determine the winning photo.
The photograph that receives the most votes will be announced in January 2012 and the photographer will win a one-night stay for two people in a hotel in the county.
