A PHOTOGRAPHY competition, entitled “Isto é Boliqueime” (This is Boliqueime), is being launched this month by the town’s cultural association, Associação Cultural de Boliqueime. The inspiration for the photographs should be the area’s architecture. Entry forms and rules of the competition are available from the Junta de Freguesia de Boliqueime (Rua Dr. João B.R. Faísca), Foto Estúdios Neto’s (Rua Prof. José J. Rodrigues) and O Nosso Alambique wine shop (Rua Prof. José J. Rodrigues). Entries to the contest should be delivered to one of the aforementioned locations by April 1. The prize-giving ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Associação Cultural de Boliqueime on April 9.
