PJ police are advising anyone receiving emails purportedly from the CTT (Post Office) or Montepio Bank to delete them immediately.
They are part of a phishing scam designed to access people’s data. Say police, the messages replicate emails sent out by the two entities and contain hyperlinks built in which can even introduce viruses into users’ computers. Best advice: delete instantly and then press “disc clean-up”.
