Pharrell Williams cancels Portugal show

Concert || His hit single ‘Happy’ was played non-stop on Portuguese radio station this summer, but his fans certainly aren’t so happy now.
American singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams has cancelled his concert set to take place on October 3 at Meo Arena in Lisbon due to “scheduling issues”.
Two concerts in Barcelona and Madrid have also been cancelled.
Contacted by Lusa news agency, the concert’s promoter Ritmos & Blues did not say how many tickets had been sold nor offer any more of an explanation as to why the show was cancelled.
However, it did guarantee that fans would be getting their money back “soon”.
Pharrell Williams – winner of seven Grammy Awards – is currently touring Europe in support of his March-released album ‘Girl’.
It spawned hit single ‘Happy’, which earlier this month became “the most downloaded song ever” in the UK.
‘Get Lucky’, a song by French electronic music duo Daft Punk that he co-wrote and lent vocals to, also became a major hit in the summer of 2013.
Pharrell Williams is also known for his work as a producer, having worked with a number of world-famous pop icons, including Madonna, Britney Spears and Kanye West.
