Pharmacies are selling meds more expensively than ‘parafarmácias’ – DECO

A study by consumer association DECO has shown that pharmacies are selling medication that does not require a prescription at a higher price than other outlets licensed to sell, namely ‘parafarmácias’. According to the study, a ‘typical batch of 26 basic meds’ works out 14% more expensive in pharmacies than their ‘less qualified’ counterparts.
