Petrol thieves risk explosion

Thieves who drilled a hole in the petrol tank of a parked car in Lagoa to steal fuel risked causing a violent explosion, according to a police spokesman who said that a spark could have ignited the tank and set fire to the vehicle. Two Portuguese men, aged 19 and 27, were arrested and charged with the offence.
