Since January 7 this year, the price of petrol has increased seven cents and diesel has become 3.5 cents more expensive.
The beginning of 2013 has been marked by steady fuel price hikes. On Monday this week, diesel rose one cent, costing on average between €1.44 and €1.48 per litre. In addition, petrol is 1.5 cents more expensive, costing between €1.64 and €1.68 per litre.
