The popular classic golf tournament was held for the 12th time at Pestana Vila Sol near Vilamoura on March 4.
The competition was played in typical golfing weather, on a course that was in good condition, but produced some interesting and unexpected scores.
The course was not an easy one to read, but the winners for the different categories emerged:
Owners (men): Mike Jenkins, 34 points
Owners (ladies): Cynthia Mariner, 24 points
Guests: Michael Nicholson, 34 points
Nearest the pin: Steve Travis
Longest drive: Martin Preece
During the evening, a dinner was provided by the Zanzibar Restaurant in the Old Village, where plans for next year’s event were discussed.
