The Pestana Viking hotel in Porches was evacuated on Wednesday morning after a fire broke out at a garage that is attached to the building.
Regional rescue command CDOS Faro was warned about the fire at 7.37pm and around an hour later the hotel carried out an evacuation. There were no casualties reported.
The blaze was tackled by 32 firefighters and was put out by 10am.
