Pestana Golf & Resorts has launched Pestana Television, programming designed to enhance the experience of Pestana for guests by informing them of the resort services, golf courses and the selection of properties available for sale within the group.
A 30-minute show of exclusive content now plays continuously in all the Pestana Golf Clubhouses and on channels 1 and 17 of the Pestana private residences and rental properties.
As well as presenting the products available from Pestana, the show also includes information about Alvor, Silves, Carvoeiro, the official
Algarve Tourism Board video which was released in November 2010 and interviews with the 2010 Pinta Seniors Qualifying Tour winners.
Pestana Resorts golf secretary and administration executive Emanuel Amador said: “I am very happy to have an internal television channel dedicated to informing our guests about what our resort has to offer them.”
He added: “So far we have had a great positive response to this new product from Pestana and we are looking to keep the channel fresh and informative by allowing outside companies to also broadcast their message through the channel.”
The channel welcomes short, professional videos describing local services and restaurants that could be included in the Pestana TV broadcast.
