An 84-year-old man who went missing from his home in Sítio da Carrasqueira, São Bartolomeu de Messines (Silves) on Sunday was found in the early hours of the following morning.
GNR police found him at 3am on Monday around “four kilometers from his house”.
The man was “visibly disoriented”, showed signs of hypothermia and was taken to Portimão Hospital. He has since been discharged.
