Portimão’s Penina Hotel & Golf Resort will hold a golf tournament on Saturday (August 13) in a bid to raise money for two local charities.
The event begins at 8am at the resort’s Sir Henry Cotton Championship course, followed by a dinner with prize-giving ceremony at 7pm.
Money raised will go to Lar da Criança de Portimão and Refeitório Social da Igreja do Amparo.
“All local companies, and Penina is no exception, have a responsibility to help these institutions,” the resort said in a statement.
Tickets for the tournament, cocktail and dinner cost €60, while the cocktail and dinner on their own costs €30.
