A specialist team of supervisors is now available to look after children in the Penguin Village children’s club at the Hotel Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort near Portimão.
The Penguin Club is open until October and then again in December for Christmas and New Year, with activities available to entertain children of all ages including specialist golf clinics, games in the pool and on the football pitch.
To mark the opening of the Penguin Club, a group of 20 children from the local Colégio do Rio school visited the Penguin Village.
A spokesman for Hotel Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort told the Algarve Resident: “The children truly enjoyed the bouncy castle, the games and the snacks and cakes specially prepared for the occasion. It was a fantastic day.”
The Penguin Village is open to children between six months and 12 years old and is run by experienced supervisors.
