AN APPLICATION to construct a purpose built pet care centre at the MerryLegs Pet Resort in Areeiro, Loulé, has now been awaiting approval from the câmara for around six months (see The Resident May 25).
The owners told The Resident that “plans include 15 pet apartments, over an area smaller than the current construction”. Along with the application, they submitted an acoustic report and the apartments will be lined with material to “eliminate any possible breach of noise regulation”. Neighbours have complained about noise levels to the câmara, which has failed to react quickly, according to locals. There is no indication as to how long they must wait for approval.
