Luxemburg Pro Cycling featuring highly successful siblings Andy and Frank Schleck (pictured) are the latest team to confirm its presence at next February 16 to 20 Tour of the Algarve.

In addition, Tour of Spain surprise third place finisher Peter Velits has announced his presence in what will already be a high class field. The 25-year-old Columbia rider came in tenth here last February and intends to improve on that debut.

The Slovak is furthermore joined for the first official race of the season by Roman Kreuziger (Astana) and Luis Leon Sanchez (Rabobank).

Prior to that big event Tavira CC has announced that it will start the new season with at least eleven riders despite the exit of top performers David Blanco (Geox) and Alejandro Marque (Onda-Boavista). Loulé, without a pro team for 2011, will nonetheless compete at U-23 level.
