PCP communists suggest Biden’s visit to Ukraine “could add war to war”

As Portugal’s political parties are focused on the issues of the day – namely the housing crisis/ immigration/ inflation – PCP communists have managed to be different by commenting that the United States’ president’s visit to Ukraine today could be ‘adding war to war’. The party’s secretary general Paulo Raimundo insists that what is needed are “signs that lead to the continuation of peace, not the continuation of war, because the results of continuation of war are visible”. American President Joe Biden nonetheless has pledged Ukraine additional armaments, and reaffirmed his government’s unquestionable support for the country invaded by Russian forces on February 24 last year.
