Pay-as-you-go broadband now available

TELECOMMUNICATIONS GIANT, PT Comunicações, has recently launched a new SAPO ADSL tariff aimed at the occasional internet user.

SAPO ADSL Free is a pay-as-you-go tariff offered without obligatory top-ups, with the user only paying for the time they actually spend online. Users credit their account as and when they require and top-ups can be made at Multibanco machines in increments of 15 euros.

According to the company, SAPO ADSL Free is the newest and cheapest broadband product to be launched in Europe, and Portugal is the second country in Europe to make a purely pay-as-you-go product available.

Users can sign up for the new tariff at www.ptcom.pt, by dialling 16200, or by visiting PT Comunicações stores, authorised agents and specialist outlets.
