PATRICE IS headlining this year’s Semana Académica da Universidade do Algarve, a student party which takes place from May 3 to May 12 in the Largo de São Francisco in Faro.
The event is expected to attract 70,000 people over the 10 days.
French soul star Patrice, who will be performing on May 9, made his mark in Portugal last summer when he headlined the Sagres Surf Festival at Praia do Tonel, performing to 10,000 fans. Other bands on the bill include Moonspell (May 6), Blasted Mechanism (8), Xutos e Pontapés (10), Da Weasel (12) and DJ Vibe (12). Information on where to obtain tickets is yet to be released.
