Passionate Portuguese traveller Érica Liane Tavares – a 23-year-old with over 14,000 followers on Instagram – suffered a fatal fall while walking at Mexico’s Blue Lagoon in Chiapa. The young woman whose focus was on ‘circumnavigating the globe (literally) to find the meaning of love’ became trapped between rocks underwater. Reports today say that because of Covid-19, her body will be cremated in Mexico before being returned to her devastated family, who live in Portugal.
