Passengers stranded in Lisbon as Portugal “seizes” Israeli plane

Israeli airline bosses were hot-footing it to Lisbon last week after a court ruling confiscated one of their airbus planes – leaving 150 passengers temporarily stranded – over “an alleged debt of millions”. According to news reports, Israir owed EuroAtlantic €2 million.

EuroAtlantic is since reported to have come to an agreement with the Israeli carrier.

In a joint statement the airlines announced they will be collaborating in future.
