Passenger leaving Lisbon airport “steals fortune” from Duty Free

In an incidence of airline terminal “lifting”, a female passenger is understood to have wiled away her time waiting for a flight from Lisbon airport by stealing a fortune in designer clothing and duty-free perfume. According to Correio da Manhã, the woman was “identified” by police after having pocketed €430 worth of perfumes and €1,247 worth of clothing. She has been formally charged and is due to appear in court.

Along with seven bottles of perfume found in her possession, CM cites two pairs of shoes, eight pairs of trousers, 12 jumpers, four shirts, three pairs of shorts, two jackets, two shirts, a skirt, three watches and two wallets.
