ON TUESDAY, May 22, Gerry and Kate McCann, the parents of four-year-old Madeleine, have again thanked people in Portugal, the UK and around the world for their support during the search for their missing daughter, who disappeared from Praia da Luz on May 3.
They spoke to the press shortly after Mr McCann arrived in the Algarve following a brief trip to the UK, where he had “extremely productive” discussions on legal and police matters.
At the time of going to press, it had been reported that the McCanns would be travelling up to Fátima on Wednesday, May 23, to pray for the safe return of their little girl.
