Parents jubilant

Faro parents who campaigned against changes to school hours which they considered unhelpful to their children have won their battle and are now celebrating good sense. They hang a banner on the school railings this week, proclaiming the words in Portuguese for “We did it!” The parents’ association of Faro’s EB1 Alto Rodes thus join the ranks of campaigning parents throughout Portugal who are tired of ‘changes’ that often hamper the quality of their children’s education.
