Parachutists home

A property has been offered to the Algarve’s parachutist association by Lagoa’s municipal authority and will serve as the 10-year-old organisation’s headquarters. The decision was fuelled by the municipality’s objective to support the growth of sporting activity in the region as well as an association which gives special importance to its socially-fragile members. The group, which will have its new home in Mexilhoeira da Carregação, has 560 associates.
