Today (Friday) sees the opening night of The Algarveans Experimental Theatre Group’s latest production at the Lagoa auditorium.
The pantomime, A Boy and Some Beans, promises to be a colourful family event with plenty of booing and hissing.
Tickets are still available for the production staged tonight and tomorrow (Saturday) from 8pm and from 4pm on Sunday.

Meanwhile, The Algarveans spring production is already in the pipeline and will be the much loved and hilarious ‘Allo! ‘Allo!
This is scheduled to be performed at the Lagoa auditorium on May 12 and 14.
Anyone wishing to join the Algarveans Experimental Theatre Group is welcome to attend the auditions to be held on February 22 at the Cine-Silves Club in Silves at 7pm.
New members are always needed to help in the many and varied jobs attached to all our productions.
