Pandemic sees Lisbon ‘fall to 58th place’ in best cities to live index

Restrictions implemented to combat Covid-19 have “reduced the quality of life in European cities”, reports The Economist Intelligence Unit – and Lisbon is no exception. The Portuguese capital has fallen five spots to 58th position out of the 140 countries considered in the ranking. In the last index, Lisbon was highlighted in categories involving ‘culture, the environment and education’.
