A charity pancake race and beer fest night took place at Camping Albufeira recently, raising a total of €315 in aid of Diabetes Research.
The race at The Carefree Rally was followed by crepes and sangria.
Lyn Geary, who with her husband Bob are the Rally stewards, told the Algarve Resident: “Ralliers were most generous and we managed to raise €110.”
The beer fest night, with male members being waxed for the charity, raised a further €205.
