The local branch of PAN (the political party whose name stands for ‘People, Animals and Nature’) has questioned Faro Council about the removal, “without any prior warning”, of six orange trees from the local church’s square.
The council says the trees were in “poor condition” and will be brought back if the treatment works, but the opposition party wants to know more: how these trees will be treated, where they were taken, when they will be brought back, and the costs involved in the process.
