Palmares Ocean Living & Golf wins National Real Estate Award

Two years since the official launch of Palmares Ocean Living & Golf resort in its ‘new’ form, the resort couldn’t have been presented with a better reason to celebrate.

The stunning new clubhouse at the Algarve’s Palmares Ocean Living & Golf has won the National Real Estate Award. The project, designed by Pritzker Prize winners RCR Arquitectes and developed by Kronos Homes, stood out among the 10 finalist projects in the competition organised by Magazine Imobiliário.

Rui Meneses Ferreira, partner at Kronos Homes in Portugal had this to say about the accolade: “Winning this award makes us very proud and proves Kronos Homes’ ongoing commitment to creating exceptionally beautiful and environmentally sustainable architecture. Thank you to all those who have contributed towards this incredible outcome; we look forward to welcoming you to Palmares Ocean Living & Golf Resort.”

In addition to the clubhouse, Palmares is home to a challenging 27-hole golf course, designed by renowned American architect Robert Trent Jones Jr.  The resort is ideal for relaxation, sitting in a natural amphitheatre that delivers delightful sea views across the estuary of Alvor – the perfect spot to stand and stare.

The award-winning team at RCR Arquitectes have also designed the Signature Apartments (under construction) and a series of stunning homes at Palmares.

Signature Apartments Sales Success
The construction of the first phase of apartments is well advanced, while sales have reached close to 90% following sustained interest from national and international buyers. This success has brought forward the launch of the new phase. With such demand for properties at Palmares, and the undeniable popularity of the Signature Apartments, Kronos Homes felt obliged to launch the second phase earlier than expected. Phase II will consist of 44 exclusive apartments, also designed by RCR Arquitectes. With its new sunset view apartments, the development will enjoy sweeping vistas over the Bay of Lagos and Meia Praia beach. While the second phase is yet to be released, clients can already register their interest and be the first to receive information when the launch takes place.
