A painting exhibition by Belgian-born artist Mika Joniaux is being held at Casa dos Condes in Alcoutim from October 6 to November 4.
Mika Joniaux lives and works between Belgium, France and Portugal, where she has a studio.
She studied painting and drawing at the Academie d’Uccle and Beaux Arts/monumental painting, both in Brussels.
Mika travels extensively and has also lived in South East Asia and in the Indian Subcontinent.
She has collaborated with the School of Visual Arts in New York and more recently has held solo photographic shows in Brussels, Crozant and Amsterdam.
