Paediatrics ambulance

The new paediatric critical-care ambulance, reported to be on the way to the Algarve, has now arrived and is being jointly operated by the CHA health administration and INEM emergency services. The specially equipped vehicle will “strengthen the Algarve’s responsiveness” to critical situations involving newborns all the way to 18-year-olds, said INEM, adding that it will be a shared resource of the two authorities.
