Central Carvoeiro resort Monte Dourado Resort has changed ownership.
New owners Colina Dourada Lda has bought the remaining assets, operational activities, including administration and service contracts, and the rental opportunities of Tucana, Lda.
Colina Dourada Lda, owned and managed by the same group that controls the Carvoeiro Clube-Actividades Turisticas, Lda, has taken ownership of 19 apartments, the swimming pools, tennis courts and central facilities at the resort.
The present team at Monte Dourado will remain in place, with Stephen Crawford continuing as the director of Colina Dourada.
A statement from the new owners of the resort said: “We have some exciting ideas for the resort including investments in the apartments, gardens and infrastructure. Generally our idea is to raise standards throughout the resort to increase its attraction for both owners, existing and potential, and rental clients.”
