Radio DJ Owen Gee celebrated his 70th birthday last Sunday but still went into the Kiss Fm studios in Albufeira to air his Solid Gold Sunday Show which went out live across the Algarve and around the world via the internet. Owen received over 600 birthday wishes on Facebook alone.
Apart from the usual Sunday morning guests arriving to do their weekly features at the studio, Owen also received a visit from Paul Buick, the previous owner of Kiss Fm, who had travelled all the way from Thailand to join Owen for his birthday celebrations.
