A product of “unknown origin” led to 52 people requiring medical treatment inside Lisbon’s EDP building on Monday. Five of the victims suffering what has been described as an “indisposition” had to be taken to hospital.
Authorities ended up evacuating everyone from the building’s first floor where, it was revealed, a ‘sanitary process’ had taken place over the weekend, involving pest control and the washing of partitions.
