MORE THAN 20,000 people made their way to Portimão earlier this month to visit Algarve Construção and Artcasa, a joint event showcasing construction firms, furnishings and accessories for the home.
Attendance figures were significantly higher than last year, when a total of 12,000 visitors were recorded.
The success of the 2006 edition can be justified by the fact that Algarve Construção is fast becoming a reference for professionals in the sector, but also due to the relevance of the topics debated at the seminars. Its popularity can also be put down to the fact that Artcasa provides the general public with a useful opportunity to discover the latest decoration trends and furnishings for the home, as well as a choice of many different brands all under one roof.
